Upcoming OnePlus 7 Could Come With A Pop-up Camera According To Leak
In the forever battle for smartphone makers to build devices that comes with true full screen displays, it seems that OnePlusβ upcoming OnePlus 7 will be fitted with a pop-up camera to negate the need of a notch or even a punch hole in its display.
This was revealed by a leak on OnLeaks, where a rendering of the unreleased device was published. Itβs been reported that the device will come with a clear 6.5-inch display and follows the pop-up camera design that was first introduced by the vivo NEX.
Through the leak, we can see that the OnePlus 7 could come with a triple rear camera setup. Sadly, if reports are true, we still wonβt be offered a 3.5mm jack port. Other than that, it is said that the smartphone will be utilizing a Snapdragon 855 chipset. We probably have to wait longer for the company to implement 5G connectivity on their devices, so donβt expect it on the OnePlus 7. We could see the OnePlus 7 come out in May or June of this year.
Previously, OnePlusβ CEO has stated his opinions on wireless charging, where he thought that the feature is totally redundant right now and should be faster than it is concurrently.
Pokdepinion: I guess itβs nice compared to a notch but my favorite type would be a slider phone. I just rarely take selfies, so I donβt think Iβd slide the device that much and damage it over time.Β
