It appears that SNK has launched a new countdown site, teasing the arrival of a new game. Question is, what could it possibly be this time?

SNK Launched Countdown Site Teasing New Game

The folks over at SNK has launched a mysterious new website with a countdown clock in it. If you head over to the site, you can see that it blatantly looks to be teasing a brand new title from the studio. The countdown ends on 10th September 2018, roughly a week from now. The tagline under the countdown reads, “A new dawn rises.” The tab even literally says “NEW SNK GAME ANNOUNCEMENT”.

As to what this upcoming game could be,anything is possible at this point. The studio has plenty of iconic franchises under their belt. I’m sure fans will be speculating what exactly it could be all week long.

It’s probably no coincidence that the reveal will come just days before Tokyo Game Show begins. About 3 years ago, the studio revealed The King of Fighters XIV prior to Tokyo Game Show. It’s hard not to get excited as Tokyo Game Show gets closer and closer.

On a side note related to SNK, a guest character was teased, in the form of a black silhouette, in the studio’s upcoming crossover fighting game SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. We’ll have to wait for more details on who that could be but we’ll all surely know about it very soon.
