5/10One of the most highly anticipated J-RPGs will be delayed, according to Bandai Namco. This was done in order to add more stuff to the game.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Delayed
Bandai Namco has made the announcement that the long awaited RPGΒ Ni no Kuni II: Revenant KingdomΒ will be delayed from its initial release date of January 19th 2018 to the new date of March 23rd 2018.
Level-5 President and CEO Akihiro Hino addressed the reasonings behind the delay by citing that the team at Level 5 has implemented new modes that still need to be worked out before the game launches. Moreover, he adds that more details about the modes and the release will be shared soon.

As you all know, Level-5 is committed to delivering the highest levels of design and quality in each of our titles. The development of our latest project,Β Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, is coming along very nicely and we canβt wait to share this new adventure with you, our fans. In an effort to constantly innovate, weβve also implemented new modes inΒ Ni no Kuni II, including the new Skirmish and Kingdom Modes.
However, with innovation and new ideas comes the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive way; this means weβll need a bit more time to make sure the entireΒ Ni no Kuni IIΒ experience meets our highest quality standards. So today, I would like to ask for everyoneβs patience as we moveΒ Ni no Kuni IIβsworldwide release date to March 23, 2018. We will be sharing more news aboutΒ Ni no Kuni II: Revenant KingdomΒ in the coming weeks and months as we move closer to our new launch date. Pokdepinion: Oh man, I was looking forward to this game to get my J-RPG fix, especially since I tried it out at PSX SEA 2017. Guess Iβll need to wait for Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom just a bit longer.
