New Windows 10X OSβ Update Will Only Take Less Than 90 Seconds
It seems that the folks at Microsoft is revealing more and more about their new Windows 10X operating system,Β an OS thatβs made specially for dual-screen machines.
They claim that the Windows 10X would require little time to install updates, where theyβve said that the whole process would only take βless than 90 secondsβ.
As we all know, updating your software on Windows 10 can take minutes to get it done, even on top-end systems. So on the Windows 10X end, Microsoft has created a special state separation, where the OS, drivers, and apps are all separated so that Microsoft can simply switch to the latest OS update once a device is rebooted.
Besides running Windows 10X, dual-screen and foldable devices will also be utilizing Intelβs Lakefield processors. On the performance end of things, not much has been revealed but it is expected to match to Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered laptops.
Pokdepinion: Thatβs pretty fast if you ask me. Wished theyβd do something for Windows 10 though..
