New Twitch.TV Update Allows For Four People To Be In One Screen
Twitch has revealed a new update where it will enable for four content creators to livestream together in the same screen. The new update is called Squad Stream and it will act exactly how it sounds.
The new update will allow for Twitch.tv partners to stream with one another and all play the desired game within the same window for the public to see. This is convenient for games that allows up to 4 people to play together, such as the new Division 2, where youβll get to see every playerβs perspective all together in one screen.
Twitch also explains on how viewer counts will work on the Stream Squad. Theyβve said that any views that you get when your video player is in the primary slot will count towards your channel stats and be reflected in your channel analytics and stream summary.
If you are worried on who gets the primary slots, you are able to change them. You can simply click on any of the other channelβs video player and it will then swap into the primary slot. Additionally, if youβd like to see how it works, theyβve also included a list of streamers and their timings for you to catch. You can learn more on Twitchβs Squad Stream by going to the link here.
Pokdepinion: I guess itβs a convenient way to catch your favorite streamers all together in one place, that is if they decide to partner up..
