LG G7 ThinQ Revealed β Coming This 2nd Of May
There has been leaks on LGβs latest smartphone, the G7, which is reportedly to be out on May 2 in New York City. The device is set to have itβs own βAIβΒ branding, hence the βThinQβ at the end of the deviceβs name.
LG G7 ThinQ
While ThinQ was originally applied to LGβs list of home appliances in December of last year, it seems that the new device will set to feature AI technology in the form of ThinQ. Despite that, the new G7 ThinQ will not be the first LG device to utilize it, where previously theΒ LG V30S had already implemented it.
The G7 ThinQ was actually leaked during MWC 2018, where it was reportedly shown behind closed doors. It is said that the device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and a 3000mAh battery under the hood. Itβs 6-inch OLED display is set to feature a notch, which is quite common in the phones nowadays.

Mysteriously, the phone has a single physical button on the right hand side. It probably could be a an AI assistant button for users to utilize its ThinQ capabilities. Similar to Samsungβs Bixby in a sense. Other than that, it will come with a 3.5mm jack (which is highly welcomed) and also a USB Type-C port for charging.
While details is still scarce, donβt expect it to come at a cheap price. That has been the case for most recent LG smartphones. Weβll sure to update you if more news gets out. Until then, stay tuned to the site.

Pokdepinion: The name βThinQβ sounds silly if i were to be honest. I know that they are trying to indicate that itβs their own form of AI technology, but they couldβve just let that name be a feature instead of being included in the products name.
