Jeff Kaplan Hints at 2018 Overwatch Additions
OverwatchΒ has been out for well over a year and a half now, and yet the massively-popular first-person shooter has showed now signs of slowing down as Blizzard is looking ahead to the next year and whatβs in store forΒ OverwatchΒ fans.
Blizzard Entertainment has released a new Developer Update video featuring game director Jeff Kaplan as he recaps the updates and new content that has come toΒ OverwatchΒ players in 2017, while also giving some insights and a look into what will be in store for players throughout the next year as the team is βfired upβ to continue adding on to the game.
Specifically, Kaplan explained that the first new content to arrive will be the introduction of Overwatch League skins, along with the beginning of the βBlizzard Worldβ event (and its special Blizzard-themed skins) that will be coming βvery soon.β
In addition to these, players in the new year can also expect βa lot of stuffβ in the works from Blizzard such as the gameβs next addition to the hero roster (and potentially more beyond that), new maps, more events, and more story-oriented content that will explore more of the characterβs backstories, such as new animated shorts and more.
OverwatchΒ is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For a closer look at the gameβs upcoming content, you can check out the latest Developer Update video at the top of this post.
Pokdepinion: Well, given that Overwatch is one of my favourite games in recent times, I certainly hope to see more coming to the game in the future and not suddenly see the game suddenly die due to a lack of interest and updates.Β

it’ll be great if they can consider other factors like elemental damage: poison, frostbite, burn, etc
