Dragonβs Dogma Director Hints at Upcoming Game
Happy new year!
I am sorry that I can not present a new project last year. The development of the project is now under climax. I am making a great game so please expect it.β Hideaki Itsuno (@tomqe) December 31, 2017
Coming right off a tweet from his official Twitter account, game director and designer Hideaki Itsuno gave his followers a very quick update with regards to his upcoming project which has yet to be revealed or given any sort of window for release. The last time we heard about the title from Itsuno-san wasΒ around E3 earlier this year. You can check out the new tweet just above here.
If youβre not familiar with his name, Hideaki Itsuno is the director behind some of the best entries in theΒ Devil May CryΒ series as well as the more recentΒ Dragonβs DogmaΒ series. Furthermore, he also directed entries in theΒ Rival SchoolsΒ andΒ Power StoneΒ series.
Exactly one year ago,Β Itsuno-san tweeted that he would be announcing the title in 2017, but obviously, that did not happen. Fans of theΒ Devil May CryΒ series have long been asking for a proper, 5th entry in the series. Iβd personally be very okay with that, or even a sequel toΒ the firstΒ Dragonβs DogmaΒ title.
At the moment, we can only speculate as to what game this is so until there is an official announcement, letβs keep it that way. As soon as information becomes available, you can be certain that weβll be reporting it right here on Pokde.net.
Pokdepinion: I am honestly leaning more towards a Devil May Cry game, but also secretly hoping I can play as Vergil again. Lightning speed quickness and a katana, what more could I ask for?
