Overall
5/10Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth β Hackerβs Memory is comingβ¦with a name that could not be any longer.
We were recently treated with a brand new Digimon game called Digimon World: Next Order. It brings back memories from the original Digimon World game but it wasnβt quite the RPG that many were expectation. If anything, it was more of a pet simulator with Digimons and a storyline.
If you liked the Digimon RPG with Persona feel that Cyber Sleuth brought, youβre going to be happy about this. Weβre officially getting somewhat of a sequel to that game calledΒ Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth β Hackerβs Memory

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth β Hackerβs Memory
ARVE error: need id and provider
Not quite a sequel, Hackerβs Memory is said to follow the events of the original Cyber Sleuth game from the perspective of Keisuke Amazawa. The protagonist was accused of a crime he didnβt commit,so he enters the digital world and joins a group of hackers in order to clear his name. All that while befriending Digimon and tackling the problems facing the strange dimension.
This time around, it doesnβt seem like weβll have a choice in gender for the characters. In Cyber Sleuth, we could choose between male and female, but this time, it seems like we are stuck with Keisuke Amazawa for Hackerβs Memory. Well, not like choosing genders had any effect on the storyline anyway.
The Western version of this game will be coming some time in early 2018. It will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PS VITA. However, Hackerβs Memory will only be available in digital form for the VITA. So for you Digimon fans that didnβt enjoy the recent game as much as youβd want to, this would be something to look forward to.

Pokdepinion: Digimon World: Next Order was fun and all but it wasnβt as good as Cyber Sleuth. Not that itβs a perfect game but it satisfied the inner-Digimon fan inside me. Either way, Iβm already looking forward to the Persona-esque Digimon RPG that got me hooked right from the start.
