Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Confirmed for November Release
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition Confirmed for November Release
Weβve heard of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition all the way back in 2017. However, there wasnβt much about the game for a while. It did have a significant showing at E3 2019 but we still didnβt have a proper release date. That all changed today at Gamescom 2019 which took place at Cologne, Germany.
During Microsoftβs Inside Xbox livestream at Gamescom 2019, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition has a confirmed release date. To be precise it will be coming exclusively to PC on 14th November 2019. The game is already available for pre-order and it will be available through the PC version of Xbox Game Pass.
The release date means that it will be missing its exact 20 year anniversary, which falls on 30th September 2019. It still beats having a buggy, rushed game on release so thatβs perfectly fine. Games that will be released on the same week include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Pokemon Sword / Shield.
Fans of the game looking forward to the suite of visual enhancements, multiplayer improvements, and new content throughΒ The Last KhansΒ are probably more excited than ever now that its release is pretty close. Once again,Β Age of Empires II: Definitive EditionΒ will be coming exclusively to PC on 14th November 2019. It will also be available on the PC version of Xbox Game Pass.
Pokdepinion: Thereβs definitely more to be seen at Gamescom 2019 so be sure to stay tuned. Still waiting to see if Age of Empires IV will be shown at the expo or not.
