A Bug Is Causing The Pixel 3 XL To Have Two Notches
Ahhh notches. The topic that we donβt seem to be able to run away with when we talk about todayβs smartphones. While we are talking about notches, it seems that the new Google Pixel 3 XL has a hilarious bug that makes the device to sport on two notches.
Google Pixel 3 XL Notch Bug
The problem seems to appear when users enable their developer options in the device. Now the funny part in that is that if you donβt like the original to begin with, youβd need to enable developer options in the settings to hide the notch. If itβs not obvious enough, the second notch isnβt physical, where it is rather a software glitch.
Apparently Google is well aware of the issue and is working on releasing an update to fix the issue. According to reports, if this situation does indeed happens to you, all you need to do is just simply restart your Pixel.
Though thereβs no confirmation of what seems to be causing the issue, it has been reported that it could be caused by the screen rotation feature of the Pixel 3 XL getting mixed up with the deviceβs orientation.
Previously, some users of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL had issues with their camera app, where their devices wouldnβt save photos that were taken.
