Sony has announced the Hyperpop Collection line of accessories for PS5, featuring three colors in PS5 console covers and as well as DualSense controllers. All products in this lineup will be officially available in the Southeast Asia region (including Malaysia) starting March 12, 2026.

Sony Hyperpop Collection

The Hyperpop Collection consists of three designs named Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Each design features a gradient finish that transitions from glossy black at the top to a bright neon tone down at the bottom, applied across the front and back surfaces of the DualSense wireless controllers, as well as the console covers. Both the buttons on the controller and the PlayStation logo on the console cover also gets matching colors, too.

Sony’s color, material, and finish (CMF) design team members have a few notes. Leo Cardoso said the new colors took inspirations from RGB lighting found on PC setups, while Sae Kobayashi noted that a high-glass coat is used on the console covers to give them β€œa subtle hint of transparency.” The accessories are positioned as cosmetic updates, which makes no changes to the hardware specifications or functionality of the console itself.

In Malaysia, the Hyperpop DualSense wireless controllers will be sold at a recommended retail price of RM419; the matching PS5 console covers will be priced at RM369 and will be available in limited quantities in select markets.

Pokdepinion: Not quite RGB lighting, but I’ll take it.
