The Last of Us 2 Easter Egg Points At Sharing the Same World as Uncharted
There have been many theories on the possibility of The Last of Us series taking place in the same world as the Uncharted series. This newest The Last of Us 2 easter egg is further reinforcing that idea.
The Last of Us 2 Easter Egg Points At Sharing the Same World as Uncharted
This newly easter egg was found by Reddit user u/kheinrichs547, referring to a bottle of pills which belong to an old woman. These pills are said to be found in Uncharted 4: A Thiefβs End in Chapter 16: A Brothers Drake. The label on the bottle of pills show Westonβs Pharmacy, which can be seen throughout The Last of Us 2 as well as its predecessor.
In case you missed it, Westonβs Pharmacy can be found in the predecessorβs DLC when Ellie and Riley are exploring a store after escaping together. As for The Last of Us 2, itβs during the Seraphites chapter where the pharmacy is an optional location that can be found with a safe filled with goodies inside.
Previously, it was discovered that thereβs a Cordyceps-infected ant easter egg in the first The Last of Us game, which seems to push the idea of the two franchises being set in the same world. The newest easter egg certainly reinforces the idea even further.
To be completely fair, thereβs a chance they might not actually share the same world and itβs just the creators reusing the same assets. Unless the developer or the person in charge of storyline outright says no, itβs fun to think of the possibilities.
Pokdepinion: Many of us already had an inkling of this possibility but this new The Last of Us 2 easter egg is one of few things that point towards that possibility being a reality.
