Talk about a match made in Heaven. IO Interactive, the developers of the excellent Hitman franchise is bringing back super spy, James Bond back to video games. The game, dubbed Project 007, is a prequel and will feature a wholly new origin story for Bond which will put players in his shoes as he works to earn his 00 status.
Project 007: Bond. James Bond.

Project 007 is a collaboration with MGM, EON Productions and Delphi and will utilise IO Interactiveβs own Glacier game engine, the same game engine that has been used on all their Hitman games. They also stated that the game will be made for modern systems and platforms which should mean that the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S as well as on PC.
Currently, there isnβt much information on Project 007 seeing that it is still pretty early. All we know now is that the gameβs currently in active development at the IO Interactive studios in Copenhagen, Denmark and MalmΓΆ, Sweden.
Pokdepinion: I am fully ecstatic that IO Interactive is developing a new Bond game. I canβt think of a more perfect developer to develop a game featuring the world-famous spy. As a huge James Bond fan, Project 007 has definitely shot itself up to my βmost anticipated gamesβ list alongside the new Mass Effect and Dragon Age 4.Β
