Epic Games Heads To Game Publishing Segment
It seems that Epic Games is entering a new market, specifically into game publishing. The news was revealed as they’ve announced on their official YouTube channel of signing deals with several game developers.

It’s been quite the journey for the company over recent times. Some of you remember that they are the people behind the hugely popular Fortnite battle royale game and more recently for their Epic Games store.
Now they are venturing into game publishing where they’ve sign up partnership deals with PlayDead (Limbo/Inside), Remedy Entertainment (Quantum Break/Control) as well as the folks from Gen Design (The Last Guardian).
This deal means that Epic Games will be covering all the development costs for the developers but will be taking a 50% share of the profits, once the game comes out.
For the developers, it’s also a win for them as they get to make games without having to shelve out any expenses.
As you might’ve noticed, Epic Games Store has been giving out free games every week, with the most recent one offering three games that includes World War Z.
