Samsung Galaxy Watch5 First Impressions
Alongside the new foldables, Samsung also launched the Samsung Galaxy Watch5. We got our hands on the former and we will be reviewing the smartwatch but before that, let us give you a taste of it with our first impressions of this new wearable.
Samsung Galaxy Watch5 First Impressions
The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 is one of the two new wearables introduced by the Korean giant recently at the latest Galaxy Unpacked event. For our review unit, it came with a 42mm Ridge Sports Band, which is a fluoroelastomer material which looks and feels like rubber but it isnβt, and it can withstand sweat just fine. In case youβre wondering, we found the following items inside the box:
- Quick start guide
- Terms and conditions booklet
- Charger
- The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 itself
It comes with a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED Display with Sapphire Crystal and Armor Aluminum frame. The resolution remains the same as last yearβs Classic model at 450 x 450. It has retained its IP68 resistance rating, so you can easily use it for workouts or bring it to the pool with you if you wish.
Once again, itβs powered by the Exynos W920 so Iβm not expecting much differences with the new model. Memory also remains the same as itβs configured with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. One thing thatβs clear is that they have removed the rotating bezel, but weβre gonna have to take a deep dive to know what difference it makes. For a clearer look at its specifications and features, you can check it out in the table right below:
