HUAWEI’s MatePad 11.5″ PaperMatte Edition Brings Matte Display To Tablets
Chinese smartphone maker HUAWEI is announcing a new tablet under its MatePad line, the new MatePad 11.5″ PaperMatte Edition. The name hints at what the engineers and designers have in mind when designing this tablet – it’s made with “today’s students and young professionals in mind,” according to the company.
The PaperMatte display is a 120Hz panel that features both the SUS Low Visual Fatigue Premium Performance Certification and TÜV Rheinland Reflection-Free Certification, with HUAWEI claiming itself as the only brand with both certifications.
On a more technical level, the display is designed to reduce blue light emissions and flickering, and the reflectance is cut down by 97% ensuring minimal glare even under direct sunlight. The tablet is also paired with the second-generation M-Pencil, with WPS Office included out of the box.
The MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition is now available to preorder at the price of RM1,999 with bonus accessories worth RM1,147 – the period ends on 29th February 2024. The tablet will be available nationwide on Shopee, Lazada, and HUAWEI Official Website once the preorder period ends.
