OPPO has spawned two more new models under its Find X9 Series smartphone lineup, involving the new Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra β these two will join the existing lineup comprising Find X9, Find X9 Pro, and Find X9s Pro (currently a China-exclusive), with a total of five models under one single smartphone lineup. Seems a bit too bloated, in our opinion.
OPPO Find X9s

As the name implies, the OPPO Find X9s is a minor spec change (in this case, a step-down) from the Find X9 launched last October. It inherits the same chassis design, same 7,025mAh battery (though it loses wireless charging support), and the same 6.59-inch 120Hz display, while chipset is now a slightly-downsized MediaTek Dimensity 9500s instead of the full-fat Dimensity 9500 found in the original model. For its camera, it swapped to a different 50MP sensor for its wide-angle lens, and loses the monochrome sensor to form a triple-50MP camera setup.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra, meanwhile, is the ultimate variant of them all: its flagship feature is the penta-camera system that involves, firstly, a 50MP sensor paired with pentaprism periscope lens to enable a whopping 10x optical zoom (and 20x hybrid zoom via sensor crop) on its βultra telephotoβ lens. A secondary telephoto lens with a 200MP sensor is responsible for the 3x zoom range, with the wide lens also using a 200MP sensor; thereβs also the ultrawide shooter with a 50MP sensor, and a tiny βtrue color cameraβ acting as the auxiliary color sensor. (Thereβs also a dedicated Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit for those who wants to make it DSLR-like.)

The flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage and 16GB LPDDR5X memory; on the display front, it features a 6.82-inch QHD+ (3168 x 1440) AMOLED display with a 120Hz native refresh rate (144Hz supported in some specific cases, like gaming) and peak HDR brightness of 3600 nits (other numbers include 800 nits full panel brightness and 1800 nits HBM). The battery is rated at 7050mAh, with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
