A New Nokia Flagship Is Coming In November Claims Product Manager
It has been a bumpy road for HMD Global when it comes to flagship devices ever since the Nokia 9 Pureview came out. It came with several flaws and fans would’ve think that they’d improve and release a new flagship.. but it never came. Now it seems that a new one is coming later this year.
New Nokia flagship coming?
The claim was made by Zhang Yucheng, the Product Manager for HMD in China. According to the post, the company is looking to release a 5G flagship smartphone that will launch in the country on 11.11, which of course is called Singles Day, a huge shopping event in the country.
As for details about the device, well… there’s not much to go from here. Seeing how Nokia has moved away from its former naming scheme, we’re not entirely sure what it will be called as well.
There was leaks of flagship devices from the company before and as you might have known, they didn’t come to fruition. Seeing how this is coming from their own representative however, hopefully that it’ll be true this time around.

Update: The reply actually says 5G smartphone and not 5G flagship smartphone.
Pokdepinion: I hate to say it, I’m not expecting much from the company these days (speaking as a fan of the brand). It’s really hard to see what their marketing strategy is. I’d agree that the design is decent but when it comes to performance and hardware, it’s definitely something that they’ve lacked in recent smartphones. Don’t get me started with the pricing as well. I really hope that they can turn this around though.
