Black Shark 5 Series Listing Provides Speedy Charging Details
It appears that two Black Shark 5 devices are coming out as they were listed on TENAA and 3C just recently, showcasing a bit of what they have to offer.
Black Shark 5 series
The listing shows that both devices will offer a 120W (20V, 6A) fast charger and they even have the same battery capacity at 4650mAh.
As you might recall from the our Black Shark 4 Pro review, itβs the same charging speed as its predecessor. Having that charging speed would take 16-18 minutes for you to fully charge the device as weβve observed.
Thereβs no confirmation on the chipset being used just yet but it appears that the Black Shark 5 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and a Snapdragon 870 for the standard Black Shark 5.
The Pro is reported to pack up to 16GB RAM while the standard version will offer 12GB instead. Aside from that, the Pro will offer a 108MP main camera while a 64MP sensor awaits the standard version.
It wouldnβt be surprising so see if they offered an AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate on the new series as itβs already available with the current-gen series.
Thereβs no confirmation on when they will be unveiled but till then, stay tuned to Pokde.net for more on the latest tech and gaming news plus reviews.
Pokdepinion: Seeing how the Black Shark 4 was one of the best to optimize the Snapdragon 888, itβll be interesting to see how theyβll fare this time around with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. I just hope that itβll arrive in the country and not take that long to enter the market like last time.
