This year, while there won’t be any new models coming from the ROG Flow series – all existing models will get updated hardware and some minor enhancements. The updated ROG Flow Z13, now powered by latest Intel Core i9-13900H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 (65W), will have its very own β€˜Nebula Display’. This upgraded panel now supports QHD+ 16:10 with 100% DCI-P3 coverage as opposed to the FHD+ 100% sRGB in the previous model year. This model will cost RM8,999 – and should arrive in mid-March.

The Flow X-series, which comes in 13-inch and 16-inch variants, gets their own updated hardware as well. First is the ROG Flow X16: The Mini-LED powered Nebula HDR Display now has increased dimming zones from 512 to 1,024 – with the same 1,100 nits of peak brightness; in terms of speed, it is now upgraded to a 240Hz QHD panel. The sole model set to arrive in Malaysia will feature Core i9-13900H + RTX 4060 (120W) pairing, but we won’t be seeing it until at least June of this year.

Next is ROG Flow X13, this Ryzen-powered model will see it powered by Ryzen’s best low-power CPU on offer, the Ryzen 9 7940HS. Accompanying it is the RTX 4050 (60W), and it has its own updates including a much larger touchpad (+56% over previous model), and a 16:10 QHD+ 165Hz panel. Like the X16 – this will only arrive in June this year.

All three ROG Flow models have a few similar features, including: new Corning Gorilla Glass DXC coating, which increase surface hardness by 40% to reduce scratches and glare; and all comes with the same XGm port that can be connected to a separate XG Mobile external GPU module – which now houses a 150W RTX 4090 inside. Availability are said to be β€˜April onwards’, but the pricing has been announced, which is RM9,999.
