Lenovo Launches New Yoga Gen 11 Series Laptops In Malaysia, Now Available Nationwide

Lenovo has officially brought its new Yoga Gen 11 laptops into Malaysia, including two new Intel-powered models in Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition and Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition, as well as the Yoga 7a / Yoga 7i 2-in-1 laptops, featuring AMD and Intel processors respectively. All announced models are now available via Lenovo Exclusive Stores nationwide.

First up, the Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition features up to Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU at a respectable 105W TGP, plus up to 64GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and 2TB SSD storage. It features a 15.3-inch QHD+ 165Hz PureSight Pro OLED display with up to 1100 nits peak brightness and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification with 100% sRGB, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB coverage at Delta-E of <1. It’s also got a large 92.5Wh battery that can be charged via 140W USB-C connector though its onboard Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Speaking of which, the laptop’s connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) Type-A ports and an SD card reader, and for networking, there’s Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 as well. Its audio features quad-speaker design with two pairs of 2W woofers and 2W tweeters, and the laptop can be configured to include optional features like touchscreen, Force Pad and Yoga Pen Gen 2. Pricing starts from RM8,999.

Next, the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition is a sub-kilogram laptop tipping the scales at just 975 grams, thanks to its magnesium alloy-based chassis. Here you can find the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor with Arc B390 graphics and up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-9600 RAM onboard, whilst its display is a 14-inch 2.8K (2880 x 1800) 120Hz PureSight Pro POLED display with the same certifications and color performance of the Yoga Pro 7i we just mentioned. It still manages to pack a 75Wh battery, although its I/O is reduced to just three Thunderbolt 4 ports and nothing else, so do bring an I/O dock with you. One of these will set you back RM7,999.

Lastly, Lenovo offers the Yoga 7a 2-in-1 with a β€œCanvas mode” that raises the laptop screen slightly when flipped into tablet mode to provide a more ergonomic angle for sketching and note-taking. It’s powered by up to AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with up to 32GB LPDDR5X-7500 RAM, and the display is a 14-inch 2.8K (2880 x 1800) 120Hz, 1000-nit PureSight OLED panel with similarly capable color performance as the aforementioned models. It’ll be available starting from RM4,999, and additionally, Lenovo also mentioned the Intel-powered counterpart (Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Aura Edition) will start from RM4,899.

Pokdepinion: Packing an RTX 5070 into a laptop like this is quite impressive, actually.
