Google Conversational Search Experience Improves Result Accuracy
Google is the top search engine used on the internet. Theyβve continuously improved it in order to give better search results for users. Now, the Google conversational search experience is about to take that to the next level.
Google Conversational Search Experience

With Google conversational search experience, the search engine will tailor the search results using context from your recent activity. This is made possible thanks to their new language understanding capabilities, which allows the user to get more specific, on-topic search, navigate topics of interest, and find more information that is relevant to the topic.
Say youβre looking for a movie the whole family can enjoy. As you search through family-friendly holiday flicks like The Polar Express and A Christmas Story, Google may detect that youβre exploring related ideas and show a list of similar movies to help you more easily browse for the perfect pick.
The idea behind it is that when youβre having conversations with another person, it would be normal to ask multiple questions in a row on the same topic. With each question however, the person would still have the context in mind but with search engines, that isnβt the case. By carrying over the context from the previous query to the next, youβd be able to get better search results.
With contextual learning, the Google search engine is expected to show far better results. However, nothing is perfect so it may take a while for it to truly learn what relevant information to show. Given the massive number of users, it wouldnβt be a surprise to see it learn rather fast and therefore, see a sudden increase in quality for search results.
Pokdepinion: Iβve still yet to wrap my head around how much better search results will turn out but Iβm sure all of us will have a better idea when we start searching for more stuff.
