Apple reported record performance across its services portfolio in 2025, citing increased user engagement, expanded geographic reach, and continued integration of on-device intelligence across platforms. Growth was recorded across the App Store, Apple Pay, Apple TV, Apple Music, iCloud, Maps, Wallet, Podcasts, Fitness+, and News, with peak activity occurring during the year-end holiday period.

The App Store averaged more than 850 million weekly users across 175 countries and regions β developers have earned over $550bn since the platformβs launch, while the wider App Store ecosystem facilitated an estimated $1.3T in billings and sales in 2024, with more than 90% of commerce revenue going to developers. Per Apple, holiday-season spending on digital goods reached record levels, led by productivity, media, and education applications.
Keeping on the subject of expenditures, Apple Pay expanded to 89 markets and more than 11,000 financial partners, with company data indicating over $1bn in fraud prevention and more than $100bn in incremental merchant sales during 2025. Apple Wallet also expends beyond money-keeping, with additions of government-issued digital IDs in Japan and the United States, redesigned boarding passes with integrated flight tracking, and automated order-tracking features. Tap to Pay on iPhone also reached 50 markets, supporting over 15 million merchants.

For news and entertainment, Apple TV recorded its highest monthly viewership in December 2025, with total viewing hours up 36% year-over-year, supported by new content releases and expanded sports streaming (the company also signed a new exclusive Formula 1 deal in US starting this year). Apple Music reached record subscriber and listener levels, introducing features such as AutoMix, lyrics translation, and expanded karaoke tools, while Shazam averaged more than 1 billion recognitions per month. Apple Podcasts and Apple News also reported record engagement, alongside new discovery, accessibility, and local content expansions.
Apple Maps launched new detailed city models and expanded base map coverage in additional countries, while Find My extended airline baggage-tracking integration and service availability in South Korea. Apple Arcade added more than 50 new games, Fitness+ expanded to 28 new markets with personalized workout plans, and Apple One bundles β which includes iCloud+, Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Arcade β are now available in over 100 regions. Additional bundles are also offered in select markets with Fitness+ and Apple News+ being the additional services included.
