GoInsuran Partners with inDrive for Transparent Ride-Hailing Insurance
Malaysia’s digital insurance aggregator GoInsuran has joined forces with ride-hailing platform inDrive in a strategic partnership to offer new motor insurance solutions.
inDrive’s approach to ride-hailing pricing puts focus on achieving a common ground between drivers and passengers. It allows passengers to choose drivers based on various criteria, while drivers can flexibly accept, decline, or negotiate fares. The system is claimed to be free from algorithm-based price structures – which often involve demand-based or peak-hour pricing.
“GoInsuran is thrilled with the collaboration with inDrive. We are confident with the partnership’s mission to integrate innovative technology with the insurance solutions,” Joshua Yong, Head of Tan Chong Insure, TCCL Sdn. Bhd., said. “This will facilitate seamless and efficient insurance processes, particularly benefiting e-hailing drivers who spend significant time on the road.”

The collaboration aims to enhance the insurance experience for drivers, by taking similar ideas from InDrive’s system – drivers can pick the insurance providers of their preference based on service, pricing, or other metrics. They can benefit from live and instant quotes from up to 12 insurers, completing the renewal process in as little as three minutes.
Starting now until December 31, 2025, drivers can use the code GOINDRIVE on the GoInsuran platform which provides benefits such as special discounts.
