Taobao App Now Supports Touch ‘n Go eWallet Payments, Says TNG Digital

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd (TNG Digital) has announced that Touch ‘n Go eWallet is now available on the Taobao App – users now have the new payment option available in the app. The integration is made possible through Alipay+, a cross-border digital payments and marketing platform operated by Ant Group.

“We see this as an added convenience for our users who shop for their favourite items on the Taobao App. They can rest assured that all transactions are done within a secured environment, and we encourage users to choose Touch ‘n Go eWallet for their mode of payment during checkouts.” said Alan Ni, CEO of TNG Digital.

As the Taobao 6.18 mid-year sale approaches, TnG is offering three campaigns for all users starting from June 15, 8pm until June 20 with purchases made using TnG eWallet:

• Campaign A: Users can get a RM15 discount with a minimum purchase of RM250 on the total net purchase in a single transaction, excluding shipping/courier charges.
• Campaign B: Users can get a 1.5% service fee waiver (capped at RM3) on the total net purchase in a single transaction, excluding shipping/courier charges.
• Campaign C: New Taobao users can get ¥25 with a minimum spend of ¥50. Existing Taobao users can get ¥35 worth of promo code with a minimum spend of ¥350.

These offers will be refreshed daily at the same hour, and is on first-come-first-serve basis. To make a purchase, simply select Touch ‘n Go eWallet as the payment option – users will be redirected from Taobao to TNG eWallet to validate the purchase with the 6-digit PIN.
