Razer Synapse is now available as a web-based interface, at least in beta form right now. You can simply access it via any Chromium-based browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, etc), no software installation required. Thatβs a big plus for users who dislike companion apps, which has long earned their notoriety for being resource hogs.
Razer Synapse Web
Razer is far from the first brand to utilize web browsers as a way to tap into their peripheralsβ settings. For example, ASUS has some products with web-supported customization (like this one), and keyboard maker Wooting have relied on similar approach that makes customization easily accessible, even on shared PCs where software installations would likely been blocked on security and competitive grounds in esports environments.

For Razerβs part, the Razer Synapse Web supports three Huntsman V3 series keyboards at launch: Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz, Huntsman V3 Pro TKL 8KHz, and Huntsman V3 Pro Mini. More models will join the compatibility list down the line, the peripheral maker has said. Within the web-based interface, users can adjust βkey settings and Chroma RGB quick effectsβ and switch onboard profiles as needed.
It further noted that the web version is meant for complementing its desktop-bound Synapse 4 software as a lightweight alternative, so youβll still need the full software for deeper levels of customization, especially for full systems like the Razer Blade laptops. You can access the page now via synapse.razer.com, though given that this is still a beta version, there will be quirks, such as your browser window canβt be too small (I encountered an issue where it doesnβt like the window being too vertical, i.e. half of the 1440p display).
Pokdepinion: Thatβs a nice improvement for sure.
