Lenovo Launches Next-Gen ThinkStation P620 Workstation in Malaysia

Lenovo today announces the availability of its next-generation ThinkStation P620 desktop workstation in Malaysia. Starting at RM9,999 – customers can purchase the models on Lenovo.com beginning later this month.

The ThinkStation P620 remains the only tier 1 professional workstation available on the market powered by the latest AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO processors, now with updated models to feature latest 5000WX-Series processors with up 25% gen-on-gen improvement. CPU configurations are available with the flagship 64-core, 128-thread 5995WX, among others, as well as the new 24-core, 48-thread 5965WX model, providing massive expansion and configuration options amongst professional users.

Designed with key IR 4.0 sectors in mind, the ThinkStation P620 supports up to 2x NVIDIA RTX™ A6000 workstation GPUs, up to 1TB of DDR4 ECC RAM and 20TB of storage. Also offered are:

PCIe 4.0 for increased speed across storage, GPUs and other expansion cards
2x L3 cache size directly accessible per-core compared to previous gen CPUs for reduced latency
Increased clock frequencies to 4.5GHz
up to 64-core, 128-thread CPU
10GbE built-in ethernet

Pokdepinion: The new 24-core option is great for those who don’t need as much CPU compute power but needs all the expansion options – AMD’s 128-lane PCIe 4.0 is still unmatched to this day.
