MSI Goes Green, Literally, With The Limited-Edition RTX 4060 NV Edition GPU

MSI has just unveiled the green-colored RTX 4060 8GB GPU, aptly named ‘NV Edition’. This GPU in particular will not be a standard retail model; instead, this will be a limited-quantity item with 6,000 units worldwide. This also marks the introduction of the company’s “THE LIMITED SERIES”, reserved for special GPU designs in the future.

The MSI GeForce RTX 4060 GAMING X 8G NV Edition GPU is based on the existing GAMING X design, though as the letter ‘NV’ implies – this is intended as a nod to NVIDIA, or ‘Team Green’ as well know it with their green eye logo. It features special green colorways on the shroud, and additional RGB lighting on the side and the shroud for added uniqueness.

While being a literal green card, MSI also uses this opportunity to promote another kind of green – the environmental kind. The company says this will come in a “sustainable packaging using only the right amount of product protection wrap and material for the packaging of the graphic cards.”
