Xiaomi launched a 27β³ 1440p 165 Hz monitor for just ~RM1328
Xiaomi has been adding a steady stream of monitors to its lineup, but the latest one might be the most interesting one. At least, for us gamers. The new Xiaomi Mi Display 27β³ 165 Hz Edition offers high refresh rate, impressive color response and also a relatively high 1440p resolution, all for just 2199 yuan (~RM1328).
The monitor boasts of a true 8-bit IPS panel that is capable of display 95% of the DCI-P3 gamut. Thereβs also DisplayHDR 400 support, for more vibrant visuals in games and movies. The Mi Display claims a maximum brightness of 400 nits, which is quite impressive for a monitor in this price range. On top of that, Xiaomi tuned the color accuracy to achieve Delta E <2, so it might be a pretty good fit for content creators too.
Now, on to the gamer-oriented feature set. The Mi Display 27β³ 165 Hz Edition offers the 165 Hz refresh rate in its name, along with 1ms Intelligent Motion Blur ControlΒ and a 4ms GtG response time. Xiaomi baked in Adaptive Sync, which means it will support AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technologies for that sweet tear-free gaming experience. The bezels are also quite thin on the monitor, allowing for some nice seamless multi-monitor setups.
In addition to the sweet display panel, the Mi Display 27β³ 165 Hz Edition will also offer two USB 3.0 ports. It will support DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs.
