Qualcomm claims the Snapdragon X2 Plus lineup can deliver up to 35% higher single-core CPU performance compared to the previous generation (Snapdragon X Plus X1P-46-100) while reducing power consumption by up to 43%. The new Qualcomm Hexagon NPU is capable of up to 80 TOPS of AI performance, whereas memory support max out at 128GB of LPDDR5X-9253 memory.

There are two SKUs announced: X2P-64-100 and X2P-42-100. The former is a 10-core (6P+4E) model with 4.0GHz boost clock, paired with Adreno X2-45 GPU up to 1.7GHz; the latter is a Prime-core only model with 6P+0E core configuration, with the same boost clock and same Adreno X2-45 GPU, albeit the graphics clock is lower at just 0.9GHz. Connectivity support includes tri-band Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 courtesy of its FastConnect 7800 module, while the optional 5G is supported via its X75 5G Modem-RF system.
Qualcomm didnβt say which OEM will introduce new X2 Plus-powered models in the coming months of 2026, but itβs reasonable to believe that mainstream brands like ASUS, Acer, Lenovo, HP, Dell will have something to offer, as these brands previously introduced Snapdragon-powered laptops before.
