The folks over at Logitech have unveiled a brand new keyboard offering for gamers. Itβs the Logitech G Pro X gaming keyboard, and itβs quite a unique product. It is a mechanical keyboard with a modular design which allows you to easily swap mechanical switches on-the-fly.
The Logitech G Pro X utilizes their proprietary GX switches, which is available in three different βflavoursβ. You have the linear GX Red, tactile GX Brown, and the clicky GX Blue switches. You can literally pull out the entire key-and-switch combo from the board and swap it for another one. For a more detailed breakdown of the switches, check it out right below here:
GX Red (Linear)
- 1.9 mm actuation distance
- 50 g actuation force
- 4.0 mm travel distance
GX Blue (Clicky)
- 2.0 mm actuation distance

- 2.0 mm actuation distance
- 50 g actuation force
- 3.7 mm travel distance
As you can tell from the looks, the Logitech G Pro X gaming keyboard utilizes a tenkeyless layout and will have the LIGHTSYNC RGB. It also has 12 programmable F-key macros so you have more options when gaming. The unique design essentially makes purchasing a new keyboard a thing of the past as you can easily swap out switches.
The Logitech G Pro X gaming keyboard will be retailing for USD $149.99 and will come with your choice of starter switches. Extra switches will come in a USD $50 kit and include 92 switches with extras to spare. No word yet on a Malaysian release but weβll be reporting on it as soon as information becomes available.

Pokdepinion: Personally, I prefer my keyboard with Numpads unless itβs on a laptop. However, I do like Tenkeyless keyboards for work and mobility so this is quite tempting for me.
