Ever since the gameβs release in 2017, Epic GamesβΒ FortniteΒ has continued to grow as one of the most popular games on the planet, and it should come as no surprise that the game is reaching some big milestones in terms of viewership through streaming and video.
YouTubeβs Global Head of VR / AR and Gaming Ryan Wyatt has revealed thatΒ FortniteΒ is indeed a global sensation, as the game has reached several milestones of YouTube viewership, on top of its already intimidating presence on Twitch.
Specifically, Wyatt stated thatΒ FortniteΒ has broken the record for the most amount of videos uploaded for a specific game in one month, while the game also also earned the designation of reaching the highest number of concurrent viewers for a single gaming livestream, following a stream this week from YouTuber elrbuiusOMG of aΒ tournament with several notable SpanishΒ players of the game across YouTube that drew in over 1.1 million viewers concurrently.
Coming off the buzz of its Twitch stream last week withΒ Drake,Β FortniteΒ is only continuing to grow bigger and bigger, especiallyΒ with the recent release of its mobile version on iOSΒ that has expanded the gameβs reach to an even wider audience than before.
The gameΒ is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and iOS.
Pokdepinion: I mean, canβt really say I was surprised given how itβs been making waves recently, especially with certain celebrities playing the game even. Kudos to Epic Games, hope you all can still maintain the game so everyone else will continue having a great time with it for a while.
