Appleβs most powerful computer launched; the iMac Pro powered by Radeon Pro Vega for 22 Tflops of performance!
Appleβs most powerful computer powered by AMDβs latest professional graphics, the Radeon Pro Vega has just launched. The new iMac Pro takes performance to the next level with up to 22 TFlops of half precision performance, up to 16GB HBM2 memory for over 400GB/s of memory bandwidth, thanks to the Radeon Pro Vega GPUs in it.
The new iMac Pro pairs the Radeon Pro Vega GPUs with Intelβs latest Xeon W processors, offering up to 18 CPU cores with HyperThreading, for a total of 36 processing threads, running at up to 4.3 GHz with Turbo Boost and up to 42.75MB of cache.
The new iMac Proβs extreme specifications doesnβt stop there. Apple all-in-one desktop is probably the most powerful ever in the market, with support for up to 128GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 ECC memory running in quad channel, 4TB SSD storage with up to 3.3 GB/s write performance, four 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 ports, 10 Gb Ethernet and a 27β³ Retina 5K display with support for the DCI-P3 color gamut and 500 nits brightness.
