Overall
5/10The Crash Bandicoot we remembered so dearly, now in high definition.
Remember the days when we used to play a lot of platformers? All those platformers had all the characteristics to become the mascot for the console that itβs on. If you were on Nintendo, it would be Mario, Sega would be Sonic, and Sonyβ¦they had a few options.
One such memorable platformer is Crash Bandicoot. In case you werenβt aware, good olβ Crash is coming back and itβs coming to the PS4, except that he will look a lot better in high definition. Some new screenshots of the remastered game has surfaced on the web.

New Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Screenshots

Today, some new screenshots of the Crash Bandicoot remastered game, also known as the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, has surfaced on the internet. The new screenshots focuses on the seriesβ 2nd installation, Cortex Strikes Back.
For those of you who arenβt aware,Β Crash Bandicoot N. Sane TrilogyΒ is not a new game from series developers Naughty Dog. It can be defined as a βremaster plusβ of the first three games in the series:Β Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2:Β Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3:Β Warped.

Judging from the screenshots, itβs clear that Vicarious Visions is putting in a lot of work into the remastered game. Itβs so beautiful, yet it still maintains the same gameplay style that we know and love from the series.
The game is slated for release some time in 2017 for the PlayStation 4. Yes, this game is actually coming out this year but no official release date has been announced yet. We can expect to hear more on this within the next few months. One thingβs for sure though, the game will have a standard full game retail price so donβt expect it to be cheaper than most games on the PlayStation 4.

Pokdepinion: I canβt believe it. Itβs 2017 and Crash is coming back to the PlayStation 4. I canβt tell you how much time Iβve spent playing the series on the PlayStation when I was growing up. However, I wouldβve liked a remastered version of the first 3 Spyro the Dragon games from the PlayStation as Iβm a bigger fan of the purple dragon. Either way, Iβm not complaining. Vicarious Visions can take my money now if they wanted.

I enjoyed Crash Bandicoot, but only played the racing version of it. It’s based on Mario Kart but still enjoyable nonetheless. :)
I do somehow wish the Onimusha series would be back, also the robot building Armored Core series. :)
Oh yeah, Onimusha would be awesome though :D
