POCO F2 Won’t Be A Rebranded Redmi K30 Pro Claims GM
Many have thought that with the launch of the brand new Redmi K30 Pro, POCO would take that smartphone and conjure up a rebranded device of their own. Well that doesn’t seem to be the case according to the company’s General Manager.
POCO F2 won’t be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro
C Manmohan, the General Manager of POCO has shared to fans that the POCO F2 is not the same smartphone as the Redmi K30 Pro. In the same session, he has revealed that they are indeed working on the POCO F2.
He does however have bad news for those who are expecting something similar to the original POCO F1 (in terms of price). He has said that it’s “impossible to repeat” the crazy price tag that their original smartphone offered. If you have a tighter budget, he even suggested that you should instead opt for the POCO X2.
As of now, there isn’t much details regarding the brand new POCO F2. We’ll be covering it once more news comes out of it. Until then, stay tuned to Pokde.net.
Pokdepinion: Okay so the Redmi K30 Pro’s price in China is around RM1,880, if POCO can get the F2 at a similar price range, I’d say that it would be a good job on their end.
