EA is Currently Developing Two New Star Wars Games – Fallen Order Sequel?
If you’re a huge Star Wars fan, then this is something that will get you excited for the future. It appears that EA is currently working on two new Star Wars games, including a sequel to the recently released Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
According to an insider report by Jason Schreier, the first new game in the franchise is the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Given how well the game was received, it’s not a surprise to see a sequel in the works. It’s pretty much a matter of when, not if, for a sequel to be confirmed, and now we know it’s happening for real.
The other game that is said to be in development is a “smaller, more unusual project” by Motive Studios. Unfortunately, details are scarce on this project and it’s difficult to speculate as to what it could be. Especially given how games could still be cancelled, it would be hard to say if this game will ever see the light of day.
While the franchise has seen some rocky moments, there’s no denying that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a big success. Even Battlefront II has seen success after a rocky launch. For now, we can only hope that the recent track record will continue with the new games.
