EA Hands Upcoming Need For Speed Projects To The Makers Of Burnout
If you are a big fan of racing games, well you should know that recently EA has revealed that they will be passing down the development of future Need for Speed games to Criterion Games, the same folks that developed the Burnout series.
It is said that the previous Need for Speed series developers, Ghost Games will act as a support studio to them. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time that Criterion Games has been involved in the Need for Speed franchise, where previously they were the ones behind Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
In recent times, Criterion acted out as a support studio for EA’s other titles, such as Star Wars: Battlefront as well as Battlefield V.
Pokdepinion: Hopefully this will mean a revival to the NfS series.. I don’t think there’s been one that’s iconic like Most Wanted and Underground 2..
