Will Nintendo Release A New Hardware In 2020? Here’s The Company’s Answer

There has been rumors circulating since last year that Nintendo will come out with a brand new Nintendo Switch Pro model but it seems that we won’t be seeing it this year as well.

The news was revealed by Nintendo Japan’s very own president, Shuntaro Furukawa. According to reports, the company has “no intention” of releasing any type of hardware in 2020.

Nintendo looks content with staying put with the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, which the former was introduced last year.

It’s suggested that Switch is entering the middle of its life cycle. Despite that, it is said that Nintendo expects it to extend far beyond 5 to 6 years.

Pokdepinion: I can’t really say that I’m shocked with the news. With the Lite version released last year, well let’s just say that it isn’t cheap in making up new hardware.
