Recently, the PlayStation 4 has reached the 100 million unit milestone, and this is no small feat by any means. Thereβs a number of ways to put this number to perspective. For instance, the PS4 easily outselling the Xbox One in global sales.
It wouldnβt be fair to compare it to the Nintendo Switch given the latterβs age in the market. However, it is worth noting that it is still outselling the hybrid game system on an annual basis despite being that much older.
The PlayStation 4 managed to hit the 100 million unit milestone in just under six years, and it is the fastest video game console to reach this number. Keep in mind that there isnβt many that even reached the milestone to begin with. Hereβs an interesting comparison on how the system perform with regards to its new record compared to the other game systems:

Pokdepinion: Not gonna lie, I wasnβt expecting this at all. I was very certain that the PS2 was faster. This is indeed an amazing feat.
