Huawei Mate 20 X Unlikely to Face Defective Green Hue Display Issues

It appears that the Huawei Mate 20 X is unlikely to face the same issue that the Pro brethren is facing for some users. While it does share a number of similar features, most notably the camera being exactly the same as the Pro model, the display is not one of them.

To be precise, the Huawei Mate 20 X utilizes a Samsung-made AMOLED panel whereas the Pro model is utilizing the ones made by LG Electronics. Samsung panels have gained a reputation for being the best in the business, and haven’t been associated with any major faults, unlike LG’s panels.

For those of you who aren’t aware of the green hue display issue, some users reported of a green hue on their Mate 20 Pro’s display at low brightness. When setting up the brightness high enough, it goes away. This was chalked up to be an issue with the LG OLED display panel on the smartphone.

It’s worth noting that not all Mate 20 Pro displays are suffering from this issue. It’s not an issue that is plaguing a big number of units either, so chances are that you’ll still be relatively safe. However, if you do plan on getting the Huawei Mate 20 X instead, it’s a lot less likely to happen on it, that’s for sure.
