The release ofΒ Call of Duty: Black Ops 4Β is just around the corner. If youβre among the many gamers eagerly awaiting your annual craving ofΒ Call of DutyΒ action, then this would be the perfect time to free up a little room on your storage drive, asΒ Activision has just announced the the size of the upcoming gameβs day 1 patch.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4βsΒ initial update will require a whopping 112 GB of space to complete the installation process. However, this is not an accurate representation of the actual patch size, just the space needed to install it. The patch itself will be approximately 50 GBs.
Many of the gameβs features will be inaccessible until the update is complete. This includesΒ Multiplayer, Zombies, and Specialist Headquarters. However, gamers will be able to dive right into the seriesβ much-anticipated new battle royale modeΒ BlackoutΒ in its entirety when the patch reaches about 30% completion, which is roughly 16 GBs to 20 GBs in size.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4Β will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on 12th October 2018.
