While we have known about the English release ofΒ Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeΒ for a whil, Square Enix has not shared that much information about it until now. Today, we learned that the game is coming west on PC and PlayStation 4 with some brand new features, including an English voiceover, on September 4th 2018.
While the vast base game already includes over 100 hours of content, Square Enix is bringing quite a bit toΒ Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeΒ in its English release. As I mentioned before, this game will include an English voiceover, but is also poised to include reworked menus, movement, and camera controls to make things feel smoother. Players will also have access to a special Camera Mode to check out the gameβs gorgeous environments in greater detail.
In addition, players will also have access to Dash function that wasnβt in the Japanese version of the game. As for new content, the English release ofΒ Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeΒ will include the Draconian Quest, which is a hard mode for veteran players to test their skills in.
Unfortunately, there is currently no word on the Nintendo 3DS ofΒ Nintendo SwitchΒ versions of the game. That being said,Β Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeΒ is already available for pre-order on theΒ PlayStation Store for selected regions, and those who pre-order there will gain instant access to a PS4 menu theme and in-game DLC once the game launches.

Pokdepinion: Yes, itβs actually getting a PC release. Not that I have anything against the PlayStation 4, I just find gaming on PC more convenient.
