New Shenmue III Trailer is Out @ MAGIC Monaco 2018
During the conference at Magic Monaco 2018,Β Shenmue IIIΒ creator Yu Suzuki introduced a new trailer for Shenmue III. This is actually an extended version of a trailer that was showcased behind closed doors at Gamescom 2017Β and is being shown publicly for the first time, which means it comes with some very relevant caveats.
Basically, the footage is 6 months old. While it lets us take a look at some aspects of the game, like quicktime events and what seems to be minigames, itβs actually not representative of the visuals of the game, which have evolved quite considerably since then.
Making aΒ comparison with the information that was available earlier on with thisΒ is actually a good chance to see just how much the game has evolved. The gameβs assets have changed considerably following theΒ publishing partnership with Deep Silver, which also led to an outsourcing deal with Indian Studio Lakshya Digital, in which the studio will beΒ working on the character models.
You can check out the trailer which aired at Magic Monaco 2018 at the top of this post, courtesy of YouTube userΒ Tublushi. Of course, you should keep in mind that the video was recorded from the projectorβs screen, so the quality is not perfect. A direct-feed version has not been released just yet.
A few months ago,Β Shenmue IIIΒ has beenΒ delayed to the second half of 2018Β to make it βbigger and more beautiful.βΒ The game has been announced exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
Pokdepinion: Hereβs to hoping that the game doesnβt end up a flop, because that will surely make the internet overlords angry.
