OverwatchΒ players definitely know the struggle of having unlocked a new skin and forgetting to equip it before the next game. Everyone knows fashion directly relates to performance, but luckily, you wonβt have to worry about throwing your next game.Β OverwatchΒ is now letting its players change their characterβs skin before each match.
The announcement came via Twitter, where theΒ officialΒ OverwatchΒ account posted a GIF of a PharahΒ swapping between skins as the lobby timer ticked down. You can check that out at the top of this post.
While it may not seem like a significant update, for fans of the games who have spent so much time in the game and have collected a lot of skins throughout their time in Overwatch, this change will impact the way they play the game, literally.
No more accidentallyΒ swapping off of your legendary and epic skins and then throwing the match because you donβt feel as beautiful. That fear of getting the play of the game without your favorite skin on can now disappearΒ forever.
This update will now bring the game more in line with other eSports titles likeΒ League of LegendsΒ andΒ Smite, which allow players to select their skin up until the match begins, and perhaps, will allow players to even improve their team fashion by locking in similar skins with one another.
Speaking of which, do keep your eyes out for the gameβs next event celebrating the Lunar New Year / Year of the Dog. The updateβs should be pre-loaded on your PC by now.
Pokdepinion: Well, I wouldnβt say this is an important feature but itβs definitely nice to have if you have the mood to change your appearance from time to time.
