The World Ends With You: Final Remix Announced
This morning, Nintendo released a new Nintendo Direct Mini that was packed full of reveals and news for upcoming Nintendo Switch titles. To begin the presentation, Nintendo revealedΒ The World Ends With You: Final Remix,Β a remaster of Square Enixβs Nintendo DS cult-classic RPG coming ten years after the original game released.
According to the developers, this version ofΒ The World Ends With YouΒ comes with updated HD visuals and a brand new epilogue that will βshed new lightβ on the gameβs already awesome story. As for controls, players will be able to use either the Joy-Cons or theΒ touch screen to make their way through the game.
The original title on the Nintendo DS can be challenging especially for left-handed people, so it is nice to see that the controls may become slightly more accommodating between versions.Β The World Ends With YouΒ was one of the most highly praised titles on Nintendo DS, but the IP has gone seeminglyΒ unnoticed by Square Enix since its release for the most part. Hopefully, ifΒ The World Ends With You: Final RemixΒ does well, the seriesβ future prospects will be better.
You can check out the trailer for the game that was revealed at Nintendo Direct Mini at the top of this post, courtesy of GameXplain.Β The World Ends With You: Final RemixΒ is poised to release on Nintendo Switch sometime later this year.

Pokdepinion: Well, I certainly was not expecting this but then again, it is perfect for the Nintendo Switchβs technology so why not? Iβm sure plenty of fans of the series will be superbly excited for the gameβs releaseβ¦or have suddenly found a reason to adopt the new console.
