ASUS Malaysia has officially launched the new ASUS V500 SFF (V501SV), which a compact desktop PC with βcontemporary home aestheticsβ, featuring βwarm woven-weaveΒ finishes, rounded edges, and a neutral-warm 4000K indicator lightβ to make it blend well into modern spaces.
ASUS V500 SFF

For its hardware, the V500 SFF is powered by an Intel Core 7 240H processor (6P+4E cores, Arrow Lake architecture), which is plenty sufficient for home office use β speaking of which, it also comes with Microsoft Office Home 2024 and a Microsoft 365 Basic subscription included in-price. The processor is mated with a single 16GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM RAM (with second slot available), along with 512GB of SSD storage (also with a second slot available).
ASUS also mentioned copper heat pipes for heat dissipation, which at this point suggests that the motherboard and cooling might be the same as the V500MV Mini Tower we previously reviewed. That likely means the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot onboard canβt be used to install GPUs in it due to size and power constraints (which is a 330W 80 Plus Titanium PSU), plus the lack appropriate cables to supply its power with.

In any case, the chassis also features four USB 2.0 ports, three USB-C ports 1GbE LAN, HDMI 1.4, and DisplayPort 1.4 for I/O, while Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4 takes care of wireless connectivity. It is offered in white and black colour options with matching front panel finishes. The ASUS V500 SFF (V501SV) is available through authorized ASUS resellers in Malaysia at a retail price of RM3,899.
Pokdepinion: It has the looks, thatβs for sure.
