HONOR announced it is officially repositioning the N Series – in layman’s terms, that’s models like HONOR 200, 300, 400, and the upcoming 600 – from a mid-range lineup to the flagship category, with all the things you’d expect out of a flagship, like top-tier chipset and camera hardware.

HONOR N Series Is Now Flagships

In fact, HONOR says the revamped N Series will be powered by a β€œSnapdragon Elite-level chipset,” although the skepticisms in us still have a few questions at this point. What about the Magic series? Is this supposed β€œElite-level” pointing to the previous-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, rather than the current Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 to avoid cannibalizing the aforementioned Magic series? We’ll get the answer pretty soon, we suppose.

Anyhow, the smartphone maker also says the upcoming device includes β€œre-engineered telephoto system that outperforms its predecessor in power and clarity,” touting its new telephoto camera to be the β€œbest in segment.” Again, exactly how the β€œsegment” is exactly defined is still anyone’s guess, despite the new lineup supposedly is considered to be flagship-class.

There will also be generative AI features that is oddly referred as β€œAI imaging”, which will include updated image-to-video function; we have seen this feature available in several HONOR smartphones for some time, so it is likely that this update involves new AI models to base its generative features on.

And finally, with flagship features come flagship designs, so the new N Series is expected to have updated looks – although it seems to be pretty clear by now that it’s going to look like a clone of iPhone 17 Pro, for better or worse. More details about the new N Series (HONOR 600 Series) will be announced on 9 April 2026, HONOR says.

Pokdepinion: If I have to guess, it’ll still going to sit slightly under the Magic series with generation-old chips.
