Videocardz’s sources has obtained what is likely a leak on Intel’s upcoming launch plans for its Arrow Lake Refresh lineup, expected to be referred as Core Ultra 200K Plus when it is officially revealed. There are reportedly two dates to pay attention for: the March 11 will likely be when the lineup is revealed, whereas March 23’s NDA nature is unclear.

Leak Suggests Intel Will Reveal Arrow Lake Refresh (Core Ultra 200K Plus) On March 11

Here’s what to expect for the upcoming lineup from the leaks we’ve collected thus far. There will be two new Plus-branded desktop CPUs to slot above their regular counterparts, which includes the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus.

The leaked specs suggests that both Plus variants gained four more E-cores, meaning the 270K Plus now sports 8P+16E cores – the same as the Core Ultra 9 285K – over the Core Ultra 7 265K’s 8P+12E configuration. Same goes for 250K Plus, jumping from 245K’s 6P+8E to 6P+12E. Both are also expected to feature faster memory support at 7200MT/s (CUDIMM).

Originally, there was a third model in the plans in the form of Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, but that model virtually have no changes aside from miniscule clock speed bump over the 285K, itself already potentially overlapping the upcoming 270K Plus due to same core counts. While never announced in the first place, leaks did confirm this model’s existence, but it has since been reportedly scrapped for aforementioned reasons.

Besides the desktop processors, Intel is reportedly doing the same for its laptop counterparts, bringing β€˜Plus’ moniker to its HX-series laptop processors that largely shares its design with desktop-based models. So far, there’s no word on how many models will be included as part of the laptop refresh, so we’ll probably have to wait for a few more days to find out.

Pokdepinion: I don’t expect much in terms of performance, but maybe Intel can win back some customers with better value.
