U Mobile today announced the launch of its Enterprise Innovation Platform (EIP), a neutral platform intended to support enterprises, SMEs, start-ups, academia, and public sector agencies in developing and commercializing 5G-Advanced (5G-A) and AI-related use cases, proofs of concept, and pilot projects.
U Mobile Enterprise Innovation Platform

The company confirmed its first eight ecosystem partners, grouped into Anchor Partners and Technology Partners, to provide infrastructure, tools, and applied expertise for platform users. Anchor Partners include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Huawei Malaysia, Palo Alto Networks, and Qualcomm, contributing cloud, 5G Advanced network technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, and device and edge AI enablement.
Meanwhile, Technology Partners involved in this effort include Braintree Technologies, China Mobile International Malaysia, Meraque Group, and ZTE Malaysia, providing applied industry use cases, deployment experience, and network and AI platforms to support enterprise testing and validation. The initiative is supported by a Develop, Test and Demonstrate collaboration framework and will include a physical EIP Hub and sandbox scheduled to begin operations in July 2026.
The EIP Hub will provide a controlled environment with 5G-Advanced connectivity, cloud and edge access, IoT laboratories, private network zones, and demonstration areas, alongside simulation and digital twin tools to test and validate solutions in real-world conditions. U Mobile further stated that the platform is open to organizations regardless of existing customer status, and that additional partners are expected to join as the platform expands.
